NEURODIVERGENT AND LGBTQ2SI+
exploring sex and gender identity, gender transitioning and affirmation, relationships, coming out, community
If you’re queer and neurodivergent, it will come as no surprise that the differences in your brain are closely connected to the differences in your experience of sex and gender. Current research has found neurodivergent people to be three to six times more likely to also be sex and gender divergent. And while there is a big old LGBTQ2SI+ community that you might find your home in, you may have found that your way of being sex or gender variant isn’t quite the same as it is for neurotypical queers. Identity categories may hold very different meanings to you or lack meaning altogether. If you’re exploring your sex or gender identity and trying to find the place you belong, this can all be confusing.
At Scattergram, we get the intersections between neurodivergent and sex and gender divergence and can help you sort out your identity and preferences and find the community that celebrates all of who you are.
