Group Facilitator:

Pascale Doherty Haigh Care Coordinator Scattergram Team

Pascale Doherty-Haigh (she/her)

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
BSc, MA in Counselling Psychology (MACP) (cand.)

“I am a queer and neurodivergent psychotherapist (qualifying) with a background in behavioural neuroscience research and lived experience as a late-diagnosed AuDHD adult. In the A.C.C.E.P.T. group, I combine clinical training, scientific insight, and personal understanding to help participants explore connection, regulation, and belonging through a neurodivergent-affirming lens. My goal is to support neurodivergent adults in working with their brain, not against it—unmasking, reconnecting with their nervous systems, and building relationships that feel safe, sustainable, and true to who they are.”

Pillar One: Understanding Neurodivergent Operating Systems

In Pillar One, we explore the basic feature of a neurodivergent operating system, as dynamic and a spectrum, using the NDOS tools to understand your own unique strengths and challenges.

Pillar Three: Connecting Authentically

In Pillar Three, we explore barriers to connection, what can be ‘fixed’ and what has to be ‘lived with’, and how to ‘live with’ the things we can’t fix using the skills of radical acceptance and self-compassion. Unmasked connection requires next level skills in calming our nervous systems. We will go deep in how to use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to self and co-regulate.

Pillar Two: Communicating Across Neurotypes

Building on Pillar One, we will explore barriers to cross-neurotype communication, your communication style, and differences between masking and translating, and build skills for assertive communication, boundary-setting, and self-advocacy.

‘This Group Didn’t Suck!’: When Groups are Neurodiversity-Affirming

‘This group didn’t suck!’ was the best feedback I received at the conclusion of Scattergram’s A.C.C.E.P.T. Group for Neurodivergent Adults this spring.  – Wendy McGuire, Group Facilitator
