My Story

I am a Registered Social Worker who works with youth, ages 12 to 29, and their families, using a queer and neurodiversity-affirming framework. Being trans, queer, and neurodivergent myself, I am passionate about the ways our various identities intersect and strive to work with others to recognize, navigate, and dismantle the unique barriers we face. Through my education and personal experience, I hope to create a therapeutic environment where all feel welcome, valued, and encouraged to be their authentic selves.

About Me

I am a Registered Social Worker with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Windsor. I also have experience working as a transmasculine peer mentor for a trans-affirming organization in Windsor, Ontario. Over the past four years, both through my education, experience, and personal life I quickly came to realize the gap in affirming mental health care that exists for trans, queer, and neurodivergent folks. Now I strive to be a part of the solution, offering mental health care that recognizes the unique intersections of our identities. I believe that queer and neurodivergent folks deserve to have access to a space where they not only feel safe to explore and celebrate who they are, but also have the opportunity to explore their mental health needs regardless of their connection (or lack thereof) to their identity.

For this reason, in my practice I pull from a strength-based and ecological systems based approach, through a neurodivergent and queer-affirming lens, to work alongside and empower those in the community as they work towards navigating the systems and structures in our society that were not built with us in mind.

Get Connected

Book a Free Consultation

Before connecting you with Robyn, we would like to invite you for a free twenty-minute consultation with our Client Care Coordinator.

The consultation is not a therapy session. It’s a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about us and for us to make sure you are in the best possible hands.

Therapy is all about the right fit. We are sure you’ll find the right fit with us, where neurodivergence is normal.
