My Story

I am an occupational therapist with a whole-being approach to supporting individuals to engage more fully in the everyday activities that matter most to them. I work closely with parents to explore their child’s unique strengths and design personalized strategies that promote growth and autonomy. Above all, I offer care that is relevant, empowering, transparent, and created to bring greater ease and confidence to children and their families.

About Me

Occupational therapists (OTs) specialize in understanding how people function in their everyday lives. We work closely with clients to explore the everyday activities, tasks, and experiences—referred to as “occupations”—that bring us purpose, meaning, and satisfaction. For children and youth, this is the art and science of supporting activities like play, self-care, learning, self awareness, connection, establishing routines, and taking on new responsibilities.

Whether we’re addressing sensory processing challenges, emotional regulation, executive functioning, or daily routines, I take a holistic approach. This means looking at the whole child—physically, socially, mentally, environmentally and emotionally, to better be able to design an approach with lasting change. I’m especially mindful of finding the right environments –just as a plant thrives when its soil is adjusted to suit its needs – so too can we nurture growth by exploring the ideal ecosystem surrounding each child.

As OTs, we wear many hats—coach, educator, case manager, resource developer, advocate, and more. Something I care deeply about is helping parents understand and nurture their child’s authentic neurodivergent self. I see the parent as the true expert, and together, we can find practical solutions to challenges. My goal is to share knowledge in a way that empowers parents to feel resourced in navigating future challenges, while also providing actionable steps that feel realistic and hopefully – fun!

It’s a deep honour to be invited into a family’s journey, at any stage of the process.

When I’m not supporting families, you might find me creating art, singing, exploring nature, or tending to my chickens… sometimes all at once!
