This package is part of the A.C.C.E.P.T. Program™ suite of groups for neurodivergent youth and adults that promotes understanding, communication, and connection.
Grounded in the A.C.C.E.P.T. modality of neurodiversity-affirming care, this package offers structured, individualized support to parents of newly diagnosed children ages six and up.
Blending the best of Psychotherapy & Occupational Therapy knowledge and skills, this four session package will help parents of a neurodivergent child:
Understand your child’s neurodivergence
Support your child’s sensory, social, and learning needs
Build a communication tool box for both you and your child
Grow more confident in your abilities to be the parent you child needs and in your child’s ability to navigate a world that doesn’t always understand them
