In honour of St. Valentine, the Patron Saint of affianced couples, bee keepers, epilepsy, fainting, greetings, happy marriages, love, lovers, plague, travellers, and young people, let's talk about relationships; more specifically, how we, as therapists, can support couples (triads, etc) when one or both are neurodivergent. Traditional couple therapy usually fails for this population. Why? What do we need to do differently when facilitating cross-neurotype communication?
