But what neurodiversity-affirming experiences have you had - in the educational system, healthcare system, a job interview, the workplace, with government service workers, food service workers, in the transit system, legal system, etc? What makes a public service ND-affirming? As therapists, it can be hard to define what makes our services different. By sharing and comparing, we can build our vocabulary to better explain what we do and to advocate for a more neurodiversity-affirming world.
