Those of us with different sensory, cognitive, and emotional perceptions are frequently labeled as having poor social and emotional communication skills. Yet, just as deaf people have collectively redefined their unique style of communication as facets of deaf culture, we, as neurodivergent people, are redefining our unique forms of perception and expression as neurodivergent culture. This four-week course provides a space to explore neurodivergent identity and expression through writing. No previous writing experience is necessary! All you need to bring is a willingness to show up with your quill or device and give it a try.
This course is for YOU if you think you’d enjoy:
* No diagnosis necessary
** Warning: unscripted social interactions and unmasking may occur!
***If you’re under 18 and this sounds fun, email us and we’ll try to make it happen!
